Purpose and Objective:

Icore Infotech Inc. seeks a Design Engineer to use computer programming languages, software tools, and software development environments to code, modify, and maintain programs.

Expectations and Tasks:

Investigate product issues, analyze layers of code for origin of bugs, and recommend solutions to cross-functional teams. Development against database systems including making changes to schemas, stored procedures, views, and functions. Produce design documents for assigned application features/enhancements. Provide feedback on functionality requests regarding feasibility and complexity. Review projects to verify accuracy and effectiveness of coding. Actively participate in code and design reviews. Participate in after-hours escalation procedures. Serve as resource between departments on detailed technical product information. Analyze internal development processes and make recommendations for changes. Contribute to internal training sessions in specified product or technological areas.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
